You have many possibilities
- Your screen: Everything that is visible on your computer
- Whiteboard: A white background on which you can write or draw
- iPhone/iPad: Follow the instructions for logging in to a network and meeting and display the content from a phone or tablet. Functions only with iPhone or iPad.
- Any open program: If you have, for example, a browser or Microsoft PowerPoint open on your computer, you can choose to share this program alone.
If you click on the "Advanced" tab at the top (after clicking on the green "Share Screen" button) new options will appear:
Click on the image to enlarge it
- Portion of screen: Highlight an area on the screen to share. Can be used when sharing PowerPoint, so that participants only see the presentation, while you see the presentation and your notes.
- Computer audio: Share only the sound
- Video: Share a video file
- Images: from a possible second web camera
The final tab is "Files":
Share files stored on your computer or in OneDrive.
You can also open these files on your computer and share the screen, with the same result.
When the screen is being shared, the controls will be found at the top of the screen. Any that are not immediately visible are hidden behind "More".
You can also move the toolbar by dragging and dropping it to another location.
Host (og co-host) can change the setting "Who can share?" as necessary.
Click on the small arrow beside the green "Share Screen" button and then "Advanced Sharing Options...":
Choose whether you want screen sharing to be active only for yourself as Host (or Co-host) of for all participants.
